Job Summary
AECOM is seeking Environmental Engineers of all levels of talent for opportunities throughout the United States & Canada supporting various business lines: Transportation, Water, Environment, and Programs & Project Management (PPM). Individuals will be responsible for a variety of engineering tasks in the initial planning, design, and modification phase of projects. We are looking for all levels of talent for the following roles:

• Environmental Engineers
• Air Quality Engineers
• Compliance Engineers
• Environmental Managers
• Remediation Engineers
• Geotechnical Engineers
• GIS Specialist


Please note that this posting is not for a specific opening; we are building a pipeline of qualified candidates for future opportunities. Positions open throughout the year and this pipeline will allow us to be more proactive in acting quickly to fill roles. If a position opens, we will use this pipeline to begin our search.

Job Summary:
Responsible for the design of environmental systems and processes to minimize the release of hazardous materials or to remove these materials from the environment. Includes monitoring & recording levels of pollutants, compiling reports, and recommending appropriate actions to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

"Discipline concerning wastewater, stormwater, potable water and water resources; ambient air, emissions sources, and control strategies; noise; solid, hazardous and special waste; industrial hygiene; radiation protection; environmental assessments, risk analysis, remediation and emergency response and applicable codes, standards, regulations and guidelines."

Minimum Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in environmental, engineering or other relevant discipline
  • 2 years of environmental experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6+ years of relevant experience
