AECOM is seeking a Construction Intern to be based in Stevens Point, WI

This position is expected to begin in May, 2023

Job Description for Specific Requisition – Responsibilities, etc

  • Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional

  • Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study

  • Work will consist of construction inspection, materials testing, and administration of WisDOT and local projects

  • Successful candidate will be based out of the Stevens Point office and may need to travel during the day or overnight for projects in the North Central Region. They will need to work independently and with other team members to complete quality WisDOT and local construction projects on time and within budgets

Minimum Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
  • Must have completed 3 years of study
  • Valid Driver’s License required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with WisDOT: FDM, Standard Specifications, Material Certification Requirements, AASHTOWare, Pantry, and Construction Practices

  • GPS and Survey equipment knowledge

  • Familiarity with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office

  • Familiarity with municipal, county, and non-WisDOT construction projects
