AECOM is seeking a Construction Engineer to be based in Southern California,

This position is expected to begin in June 2023.

Job Summary/Responsibilities
• Perform on-site construction inspections to verify compliance with plans and specifications during construction.
• Coordinate construction work activities with other members of the project team.
• Performs field measurements of construction work items and calculates quantities of for contractor payment.
• Prepares daily diaries and work reports, tracking workforce labor and equipment and working conditions
• Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out tasks.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction Management program, from an accredited university.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous exposure or strong interest in transportation infrastructure construction
