AECOM is looking for a Communications Coordinator for its Enterprise Capabilities team. Reporting to the Communications Manager, this position is based in London, United Kingdom and offers flexible work options for hybrid remote schedules.

Enterprise Capabilities (EC) is a business group within AECOM with seven global offices and a team of over 1,600 technical experts who support the delivery of AECOM projects around the world. As a Communications Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day communications needs for the EC team, drafting internal communications, managing requests for communications support and collecting stories on our projects and people that can be promoted across all internal channels.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Build, target, test and issue newsletters and messages using Poppulo, an internal communications management tool
- Support and manage internal content development, exercising good editorial judgment
- Update and continuously improve Intranet
- Write, edit and proofread communications materials.
- Support efforts to ensure messages reach target audiences.
- Develop strong relationships with internal clients to provide communications support.
Minimum Requirements
- Three to five years of experience in a similar job.
- Strong written and oral communications skills, including copyediting
- Ability to synthesize complex materials and to craft creative, persuasive language and compelling messaging for a variety of global audiences
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy, completeness and thoroughness of all work
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task and work effectively on a variety of projects concurrently in a demanding, deadline-driven environment
- Proven ability to ensure accuracy, completeness and thoroughness of all work products
- Self-starter capable of assuming responsibility for several tasks at once with little supervision
- Project management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word and Excel. SharePoint and Poppulo or other email newsletter platforms knowledge is preferred
- Detail oriented and passionate about delivering high-value work
- Creative and resourceful, with a keen interest in driving best-in-class communications
- A time management superstar - able to navigate competing priorities and multiple projects
- A quick learner

- Bachelor's degree in communications, English, marketing, journalism or related discipline plus professional, corporate communications-related experience, preferably in a global, multi-site company or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
