Job Summary/Responsibilities
• Serves as junior CADD technician on bridge design team.
• Works under the supervision of bridge team engineers and senior bridge CADD technician.
• Must be proficient in Microstation, knowledge of Projectwise and Geopak is preferred.
• Will be responsible for using Microstation to produce Bridge Layouts and bridge details for superstructure and substructure plan sheets under the guidance of the Project Engineer.
• Will be responsible for adhering to project CADD standards for setting up base files, detail sheets and managing reference files.
• Experience detailing bridge plans for TxDOT is preferred.
• Familiarity with TxDOT standards and the TxDOT Bridge Detailing Guide is preferred.
• Ability to calculate concrete and reinforcing steel bridge quantities is preferred.

Minimum Requirements
- HS + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Information:
- Preferably 4 years of related experience in highway/ bridge design
- Must be proficient in Microstation, knowledge of Projectwise and Geopak is preferred.
- Experience detailing bridge plans for TxDOT is preferred.
- Familiarity with TxDOT standards and the TxDOT Bridge Detailing Guide is preferred.
- Ability to calculate concrete and reinforcing steel bridge quantities is preferred
