If so, we are looking for an experienced design engineer to join our Rail Civils team in Croydon. You will be joining a team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions.

About Our Team:
Our LSE Rail Civils Team is based in our AECOM Croydon office has an established record for successfully delivering Rail Civils projects. The team provides input to projects throughout the infrastructure lifecycle from feasibility, preliminary and detailed stage designs for new assets to inspections, assessments, maintenance and refurbishment of existing assets, with a keen eye on sustainability as part of our delivery. The projects we deliver range from standalone Access for All (AfA) commissions, through to frameworks for ongoing delivery to supporting other parts of AECOM’s business on major multidisciplinary projects. Our clients are many and varied from both the private and public sector and include the major custodians of the UK’s rail network, numerous local authorities and major Contractors.

Job Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:
  • Preparation technical outputs to the highest standards in accordance with the AECOM quality management system.
  • Provide assistance to senior management in the preparation of technical and financial proposals
Minimum Requirements
  • Work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business
  • Design experience in a range of civil engineering projects
  • Good communication skills
  • Suitable experience in design software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree qualification (or equivalent experience) in Civil Engineering or similar
