| AECOM is seeking for Full Time Champ Dispatchers to work out of six districts. A CHAMP Dispatch/Operator coordinates with field CHAMP Operators to assist with accidents, stalls, debris, vehicle fires and other roadway affecting issues. The CHAMP Dispatch/DOC Operator also maintains operational awareness of the location of all field CHAMP Operators assigned to the shift. The position also detects and manages traffic incidents and reports of roadway maintenance needs from multiple sources by managing and directing calls to appropriate responding resources, such as CHAMP, local police, GSP (Georgia State Patrol), ATMC (Atlanta Traffic Management Center), and GDOT personnel. Roadway incidents are entered and managed in ATMC's NaviGAtor system and tracked accordingly. Other responsibilities of a CHAMP Dispatch/Operator include:

- High School Diploma
- Must pass a state and federal criminal history/security background check
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time monitoring Intelligent Transportation Systems such CCTV camera displays, meters, law enforcement radio broadcasts, answering/responding to calls and communicating to other staff or partner agencies.
- Constantly operate a computer and other monitoring equipment
- Demonstrated proficiency in dispatching field personnel via radio.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to include the use of proper English, diction, grammar and spelling.
- Demonstrate an ability and interest in learning new computer programs.
- Demonstrate an ability and interest in reading, interpreting and communicating technical information.
- Demonstrate a willingness and ability to solve problems, prioritize duties and complete required tasks effectively.
- Ability to learn the principles, procedures and techniques involved in incident/congestion management and general traffic signal design.
- Ability to utilize integrated software along with radio, voice, email, data communications.
- Ability to obtain and disseminate relevant information from a variety of resources including CCTV, field personnel, internet, two-way radio and customers.
- Ability to solve problems, prioritize duties and complete required tasks promptly.
- Must be a team player, be able to work independently, and have the ability to work well with various personality types.
- Consistently present a positive and professional image.
- Must be organized, responsible and timely.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Experience in Call center, customer service.
- 911 Operator or dispatching preferred.
- Data Entry Skills.
