AECOM is seeking a Campus Planning Leader to complement its Higher-Education team in the eastern United States.
We are hiring a Campus Planning Leader, for the eastern United States within our Urbanism and Planning Practice. The role will include the following responsibilities:
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and resource for areas of higher education campus planning in the United States and abroad
- Provide thought leadership and drive innovations in campus organization, form, experience, amenities, and infrastructure.
- Explore new business models and analytical methods integrating academics, entrepreneurship, and corporate partnerships.
- Work closely with the East Region Education leadership, strategically collaborating on project wins.
- Work closely with the National Education leadership teams to develop and grow the higher education practice
- Develop new client relationships and identify project opportunities.
- Work closely with all B+P Practices (Architecture, Interiors, High-performance buildings, Urbanism + Planning, Strategy+, People and Places Advisory) to lead and deliver design and consulting projects
- Actively mentor and develop skills of staff in areas of expertise
- Recognized expert in technical leadership within their domain or specialty area, serving as the primary technical leader for their business area
- Keeps informed of new developments and requirements affecting the organization to recommend changes in programs and applications to ensure AECOM remains a leader in emerging technologies, delivery methods, funding mechanisms, geopolitical issues, and/or other industry drivers
- Uses creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented technical problems
- Provides technical expertise to region business line, market sector, and business development teams, suggesting approaches and differentiators where applicable
- Provides visible industry and technical leadership within and outside of AECOM.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design or Urban Planning plus 12 years of related experience in the planning and design of Higher Education Campus projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Architect, Landscape Architect or AICP
- Master of Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design or Urban Planning
