Job Summary

AECOM Mexico has an exciting opportunity where we are seeking a Business Development Analyst to support our growing business, reporting to the Regional Transportation Director and working closely with the multidisciplinary teams in Mexico, USA and Latin America. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

  • Supporting pipeline management, bid coordination, document production and marketing. This person will work collaboratively across the organization ensuring adherence to best practice to achieve the best possible outcome.
  • Supporting bid production including, expressions of interest, statements of qualifications and capability statements, pre-qualification questionnaires and tenders
  • Provide formatting and editing of bids and reports
  • Ensure the accurate electronic filing and storage of submissions, bids, proposals
  • Ensure efficient monitoring and racking of opportunities with correct and timely data management.
  • Maintain continuous improvement and the raising of bidding document standards
  • Provide communications and marketing support for business development activities
  • Support the preparation of presentations (general, sector and project specific)
  • Using all the appropriate project data databases including SharePoint and legacy systems to ensure the continuous capture/upload/update of project data
  • Help create and store new marketing collateral such as project case studies and CVs
  • Research and communicate project opportunities within the industry
  • Support production of promotional and marketing material associated with business development

Minimum Requirements
  • University Degree in Engineering or similar area of study
  • 5 years experience in Business Development

Preferred Qualifications
  • Civil Engineering degree highly preferred
  • Knowledge and experience of working in the engineering- preferably in the transportation sector
  • Fluent in English and Spanish-written and spoken
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Outstanding administrative and communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Excellent editing and formatting skills
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in use of MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, design (CAD) software like Autocad and Revit, and budgeting software like Opus and Neodata
  • Desirable but not essential, Salesforce, Sharepoint, InDesign and Photoshop
