AECOM is seeking a Business Design Strategist for our growing Strategy+ practice in New York City.
Strategy+, AECOM’s management consulting studio operates at the intersection of Business Transformation, Organizational Design and Place Strategy. The Strategy+ NYC studio is growing rapidly, and we’re looking for someone that is comfortable blurring the lines between strategy and creative, is a strong communicator, comfortable tackling diverse projects across differing industries, is highly motivated, engagingly collaborative and possesses outstanding analytical and design skills.
You will join our multidisciplinary team of talented strategists, organizational designers, change managers, architects, data analysts, organizational psychologists, planners, and designers to support projects which encompass world class corporations, healthcare and cultural institutions, universities, and local and federal government.
This position is expected to begin in October 2022
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Management consulting and / or corporate strategy
Policy and Process Development
Data analytics & modeling
Communications strategy, branding and marketing
Change management, people operations & planning, organizational design & development
User research, synthesis of qualitative data and generating insights
Design background in architecture, planning, interiors, product or web design
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Technology, Architecture, Planning, Design, or other relevant field and 2 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Project management, planning, and scheduling with focus on design-thinking, lean startup and design-led strategy
- Experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with or willingness to learn Adobe Creative Suite, as well as REVIT or other space planning/design systems
- Knowledge of Web based data analytics, visualization, and GIS

Offered rate of compensation (NYC locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000
