Job Summary
AECOM’s Canada Federal marketing team is looking for bilingual marketing coordinator to assist in winning Federal work.

This position requires creativity, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, solid writing skills, organization, conceptual thinking, and effective decision-making. The position will report directly to the Senior Manager within the Canada Federal marketing team.

You will collaborate with the federal marketing team and regional business line teams on identified priority pursuits, including partnering in the preparation of responses to client solicitations, shortlist interviews, and pre-solicitation efforts.

This position can be based within driving distance of a main AECOM office in Canada.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Coordinates and supports creation of marketing materials and proposal responses.
  • Provide translation services for proposal and marketing content.
  • Performs ongoing maintenance of proposal template libraries and marketing collateral.
  • Support proposal development with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and proposal team members.
  • Editorial review of proposals
  • Template generation and the integration content into draft documents.
  • Ensure quality assurance and control of all documentation.
  • Assist proposal teams in the selection of appropriate marketing literature to be included in RFx responses.
  • Synthesize proposal materials into final client ready package.
  • Liaise with subconsultants and prime to coordinate proposal documentation.

Minimum Requirements
  • Post-secondary education preferably in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field, or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Fluent in both English and French with confidence in communicating and writing in both official languages.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong writing and editing skills; attention to detail.
  • A self-starter who will collaborate with the team and adapt to a rapidly changing and competitive environment and can prioritize and multi-task in high pressure environments.
  • Able to work efficiently and prioritize in a busy and deadline driven work environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • A creative-minded individual with strong communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A working knowledge of collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams
  • A working knowledge of word processing programs (e.g., Microsoft Word), spreadsheet management (Excel), graphics programs (e.g., InDesign, Adobe programs), and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint).
  • Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to exercise discretion with confidential/ sensitive issues.
  • Ability to work independently and with others.
  • Diplomacy with peers and internal clients in handling challenging situations.
