AECOM is currently seeking talented BEST coordinator.
In this position you will be involved in engineering projects specific to design and construction of rails and other infrastructure projects.
In the role of BEST Coordinator (Technical Specialist), you will have the main responsibility for leading a group of technical specialists in the disciplines of track, electricity, signal and telecommunications, and together with project managers lead and manage design. In the role, you will work with writing assignment descriptions for procurements at different stages and lead reviews of delivery documents. You will also work to contribute to the design of technical system standards.
You will have the opportunity to work for some of the most interesting infrastructure projects in Sweden.
The positions will suit those who can work with a good degree of day-to-day independence on tasks including desk study/feasibility through ground investigation and interpretation to final design.

Key duties include:
- Lead review of BEST parts in delivered system documents
- Evaluate specific requirements (requirements for design) in collaboration with technical specialists, discuss, formulate and revise requirements.
- Close support to our senior team in project delivery and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
- Mentoring of junior staff, supporting them.
- Developing Client Relationship and being the interface with Client.
- Coordinating and assisting international design teams for local deliverables.
- Prepare fee bids and proposals, including cost estimation and programme planning.
- Collaboratively work within a multi-disciplinary design team interfacing directly with other ground engineering team members and with other internal design teams from various disciplines.
- Applying QA/QC requirements to their own work and work of the project team.
Minimum Requirements
- have a technical higher education 180 credits (120p) or equivalent competence acquired through experience or education that is deemed to be equivalent
- has many years of work experience of infrastructure projects in the railway and in the BEST area as a coordinator, technical manager or project manager.
- has good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
- Merited Qualifications/Experience :
- Experience of working with the Swedish Transport Agency's approval for railways (GOP)
- Knowledge within AB, ABT and ABK
- Project management training/experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geological or Master in civil-engineering or equivalent
