Our clients trust us to bring together the best people, ideas, technical expertise and digital solutions to our work in transportation, buildings, water, the environment and new energy. We’re one global team – 47,000 strong – driven by a common purpose to deliver a better world.
Here, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity.
AECOM are seeking to employ a leader in the field of green infrastructure (GI) to further develop our GI service offer. This new position is being driven by a growing need to support clients seeking to deliver multi-functional green space as part of major infrastructure and town and country planning developments and, as such, you will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues from our Ecology, Water Environment and other practice areas as appropriate to develop GI solutions. We are looking for an experienced individual with a detailed understanding of GI and allied areas including biodiversity net gain, urban greening, environmental net gain, landscape character and connectivity, blue infrastructure, nature-based solutions and planning and environmental planning more generally.

As part of your role you will engage with clients, internal AECOM colleagues across a wide range of disciplines and external stakeholders including government departments and agencies and statutory consultees.
You will need a good first degree and, ideally, a second degree in a relevant subject, for example, planning- or environment-related. You will have significant GI-related work experience and, ideally, you will have chartered status with a relevant professional body or evidence to demonstrate you are working towards this.
