We now have a vacancy for a Site Technician as part of our Roads Asset Management team. The vast majority of surveys are undertaken on transient locations throughout the UK, requiring team members to travel extensively or work remotely.

You will:
  • Undertake a range of visual condition surveys, both walked and driven, to UK Pavement Management System (UKPMS) accredited standards.
  • Collect survey data on either handheld devices or tablet computers.
  • Undertake asset data collection surveys employing GPS-enabled handheld data capture devices.
  • Due to continuing survey works, candidates will be required to lodge away throughout the UK for extended periods, which may require some weekend working.
Minimum Requirements :
  • Attention to detail.
  • A willingness to learn.
  • A flexible approach to working in different environments
  • Organisational and communication skills.
  • Computer literate – basic Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read maps and plans.
  • Previous experience of UKPMS would be advantageous.
  • Ability to survey up to 8km per day (walked surveys).
  • Ability to travel across the UK
