Job Summary
AECOM Hunt is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager to join our Hunt Construction group. This position will be supporting our Orlando, Florida project site location.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assists the Project Management team with management administration on a small to moderate size and scope project, or a portion of a larger, more complex project, following set guidelines for tasks.
• Employee receives clear and specific instructions and/or follows standardized instructions or procedures without ongoing supervision. Work is checked for accuracy, adequacy and adherence to instructions. Employee consults with supervisor on matters not covered in the original instructions.

• May interface with design team.
• May work closely with BIM team and use modelling software.
• May assist with and monitor change orders
• May assist with and review financial reporting
• Review project costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract
• Work with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate.
• Attend meetings and report on project tasks as needed.

This project is located in Orlando along the I-4 attractions corridor.
It is an interactive entertainment facility that will house multiple tenants.
The building is a two-story structure with tilt-up concrete exterior and structural steel framing.
Approximately 300,000 GSF in area located on a 17-acre site. The project includes Site and Civil development (parking, landscaping, and themed structures).
Site construction is anticipated in April of 2023 with completion anticipated in summer of 2024.

Minimum Requirements
  • BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications
  • Commercial building construction experience
