About Our Team:

We are a team of industrial architects with mission critical insight seeking an Architect with strong recent experience of working with Data Centre clients from Hyperscale and Colocation to Enterprise. The role will be based primarily in our New York Street office, Manchester but may require travel within UK+I. The candidate must be strong in technical design content and in design management, digital technologies, and design workflow. He/she will be expected to manage and undertake design activities and the production of design information.
As a Senior Architect with post-qualification experience you will be working on projects across a variety of sectors but with focus in Data Centres.

You’ll be working closely with the multi-disciplinary design teams, clients, and contractors in the UK and Europe. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Job Responsibilities:
General duties on a range of projects and design stages, including design, detailing, drawing, contract administration, site inspections, etc.
  • Acting as project leader on appropriate projects
  • Presenting to clients and prospective clients
  • General administrative and management duties appropriate to architectural practice
  • You will assist in the preparation of design work and presentations, the production of the technical delivery of projects including working drawings, specification writing and contract documentation and help in the development of presentations and projects
Minimum Requirements
• Fully Qualified Architect (ARB Registered)
• Proven related Architecture experience
• Recent experience of having worked on Data Centre projects.
• Experience of various forms of building contract
• Working knowledge of Building Systems, Regulations, and construction types
• IT literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage a busy workload and deadlines
• Work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business
Preferred Qualifications
• Working knowledge of Revit
• Working knowledge of Sketchup, Photoshop and other presentation software
• Driving Licence
• A clear work history and proof of professional development and learning
• Ideally you will live locally to the office or be willing to relocate
