Position Summary 

The Supervisor of Clinical Training is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs for BC(a)BAs and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). This role ensures clinical staff are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and competencies needed to deliver high-quality, ethical, and evidence-based ABA services. The Supervisor of Clinical Training plays a key role in driving clinical excellence, staff development, and treatment fidelity across the organization. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve onboarding and ongoing training programs for BC(a)BAs and RBTs. 

  • Develop competency-based training curricula aligned with BACB standards and company clinical models. 

  • Create training materials, modules, SOPs, video modeling, and competency checklists. 

  • Establish and oversee competency assessments for clinical staff. 

  • Monitor and evaluate staff proficiency in clinical skills, data collection, and treatment implementation. 

  • Provide mentorship and clinical guidance to Licensed Clinicians and RBTs. 

  • Promote treatment fidelity through training, observation, and feedback systems. 

  • Conduct or oversee fidelity checks and clinical audits related to staff performance. 

  • Partner with leadership teams to support staffing readiness and clinical excellence. 

  • Ensure all training programs align with BACB guidelines, payer requirements, and state regulations. 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 

  • Staff competency assessment pass rates 

  • Training completion timelines 

  • Treatment fidelity scores 

  • Reduction in clinical performance issues 

  • Staff retention and satisfaction related to training support 

  • Quality and consistency of BCaBA/RBT supervision practices

Qualifications 

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing 

  • Minimum 3–5 years of clinical ABA experience 

  • Experience supervising RBTs and/or BCBAs 

  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles, ethics, and evidence-based interventions 

  • Experience in staff training, curriculum development, or mentorship preferred
