The Account Manager Laboratory Products, Benelux area is the primary contact and owns the relationship with the customers in his territory. The Account Manager is responsible and accountable for the sales of the Laboratory equipment and consumable to the High Growth and Strategic customers in the territory. In this role the account manager is also working with distribution partners to develop the business and to reach the sales targets and strategic goals. The Account Manager is reporting to the Benelux commercial leader.

Our laboratory equipment products are used primarily by pharmaceutical companies for drug discovery and development and by biotechnology companies and universities for life science research to advance the prevention and cure of diseases and enhance quality of life. Our offering consists of equipment, accessories, and services for sample preparation (i.e. Centrifugation, Incubators), storage (i.e ULT freezers) and protection (i.e. Biosafety Cabinets). Our laboratory consumables products include plastics, glass, and related equipment that customers use every day to support their scientific research, drug discovery and development, quality and process control, and clinical and basic research and development needs. Key Responsibilities:

- Owns the relationship with the customers in his area

- Execute Professional sales visits, calls and virtual meetings to maximize sales of Thermo Scientific Laboratory Product portfolio

- Maintain and regularly enter accurate and complete customer data and sales project information into company sales data system. (

- Provide accurate and timely monthly business review

- Ability to identify customer needs and apply Thermo Fisher Scientific solutions

- Exchanging account information and sales leads with other Thermo Scientific divisions

- Attend and supportive to customer presentations, tradeshows and other customer events live and through virtual media.

- Supportive to the distribution channels, join customer visits/calls with distribution partner and takes the the rules of engagement into account

- Work corporative with other Thermo Scientific divisions and service organization

- Consistently achieve or exceed the quarterly and yearly revenue based on the Annual Operations Plan

Minimum Requirements

- Degree level qualification in a scientific discipline, preferably Lifesciences

- Relevant experience in a commercial environment- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and experience in territory management

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Excellent Time Management and ability to multi tasking

- Maintain a professional appearance

- Ability to work in a team and back up colleagues

- A good level of communication skills, both written and oral

- A good level of Dutch(Flemish) and English verbal and written, French language is a pre

- Ability to travel with valid driving license

- Must live in territory or be able to relocate - preference Belgium or Southern part of The Netherlands
