Join our team in the Gastroenterology Lab located in the Anderson Medical Pavilion on the Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla campus.  You will experience the pride and support of being a member of an outstanding team where we share a culture of providing excellent care to our patients and each other. 

The specialized services nurse performs patient assessments and care tasks, procedures, and medication administration as appropriate. Educates patients and documents patient interactions. Practices infection control. Contributes to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice.

This is a full-time 10-hour DAY Shift position located at AMP in La Jolla.

This is a New Hire Retention Bonus eligible position.



  • Prior RN experience
  • Current California Registered Nurse License
  • Current BLS from American Heart Association
  • ACLS required
  • Must be able to successfully muti-task and remain calm and professional during hectic times.
  • Prior experience in an ambulatory/clinic setting
  • Prior GI experience
  • Prior IV skills
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Procedural or GI experience preferred
