General Summary of Position:
- Supports the patient meal selection, service, and delivery process. Assists patients with menu selection(s) on assigned unit(s).
- Assembles meal tray carts for patient care units and delivers and retrieves patient meals trays and snacks to patient rooms.
- Provides clerical support to the Hospitality Service Office.
Education:
- High school degree or GED diploma is required, but a minimum of 3 years of directly relevant job-related experience may be substituted for the educational requirement. Requires the ability to read, write and perform basic addition and subtraction. Requires the ability to comply with basic oral and written instructions.
Experience:
- From six to twelve months experience required, preferably food service within a health care environment.
Certification/Registration/Licensure:
- None required for this position.
