This is a remote position within the Pittsburgh, PA, Tysons Corners, VA, Washington, DC, New York, NY, Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL or Houston, TX markets. Surrounding markets may be considered. In person activities may occur periodically based on business need.
This senior level position is part of the Balance Sheet Management department. As an ALM Management Director, you will be responsible for modeling and data analytics, where you would be conducting research in the bank, as well as customer databases at a very high level and then communicate findings with model owners, model risk management team and Line of Business Modelers. From there you will document and archive any related technical/communication processes. You will work very closely on data-driven projects, where you would formulate and manage the data from the results found. In addition, you will develop statistical models or build data base analytics, as well as support regulation submissions including CECL/CCAR. You will also execute business strategies, process improvements and remediation activities by performing financial analysis, conducting research and preparing and delivering presentations, as well as participating in stress testing efforts. And finally, you will be responsible for influencing line of business partners in understanding specific line items of PNC's balance sheet and income statement. You will works with various review teams, including model risk management, internal and external audit and regulators. You will also analyze, review and present risk analytics/stress testing material including documentation and templates to senior team members.
Due to the nature of this position, preferred candidates will have sophisticated Python coding experience, including PAE, Jupiterlab, Pyspark, etc. Working experience of regulation models (CECL/CCAR/Basel), as well as Tableau and/or SAS also preferred. Candidates are also expected to have the ability to work well in a fast-paced collaborative work environment and be detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
