Our Finance team serves as a critical business partner responsible for managing all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management.

What will I be doing?

The Honors Finance team is a crucial business partner responsible for supporting Hilton’s award-winning loyalty program, Hilton Honors. The team’s primary responsibilities include Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Controls and Stewardship, Annual Budgeting and Planning, and Project Support.

The Analyst, Honors Finance will report to the Manager, Honors Finance, and execute financial reporting and analysis with a focus on the Honors loyalty program and Honors Co-Brand credit card partnership. The analyst will help maintain financial models and provide analytical support to assist in the success of these programs. In this role, you will execute monthly and annual budgeting and forecasting responsibilities, prepare and analyze financial reports, and perform business analyses to help optimize and manage costs.

More specifically, you will:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial performance reports, identify key trends, and prepare variance explanations
  • Utilize PeopleSoft, Hyperion, and Excel to maintain, update, and continuously improve financial forecasts
  • Perform monthly Accruals and assist with Actuals Closing for Honors departments
  • Assist in the production of Monthly Business Reviews, providing insights into any budget/forecast variances
  • Play key role throughout the annual budget process, building relationships and helping business partners to prepare their annual operating plans
  •  Provide finance support for the Co-brand partnership by producing analytic reports, tracking expenses, tracking revenue streams, and answering queries related to the financial aspect of the products

  • Ability to work well under pressure and effectively balance multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
  • Self-starter, with the intellectual curiosity and drive to identify challenges and potential problems and to independently propose solutions
  • General accounting knowledge, specifically around accrual, cost allocation, amortization

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • One (1) year of total working experience
  • One (1) year of analytical experience within a financial function
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance or Mathematics
  • Three (3) years of working experience
  • Proficiency with Oracle Smart View and/or Hyperion Essbase
  • Hospitality and/or Credit Card industry experience
