Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to lead the daily operations of our long-term care facility. The Administrator is responsible for overall management, regulatory compliance, financial performance, staff leadership, and ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proven record of regulatory compliance, census development, and team engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all facility operations including nursing, dietary, housekeeping, maintenance, and social services
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Maintain survey readiness and implement corrective action plans when necessary
Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
Manage facility budget, financial performance, and census growth
Develop and mentor department leaders
Promote a positive culture focused on resident dignity and staff accountability
Oversee emergency preparedness planning and implementation
Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and community partners
Qualifications
Current Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license (active and in good standing)
Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred)
Minimum 2–3 years of long-term care leadership experience preferred
Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and state survey process
Proven leadership, financial management, and team-building skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
