Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to lead the daily operations of our long-term care facility. The Administrator is responsible for overall management, regulatory compliance, financial performance, staff leadership, and ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proven record of regulatory compliance, census development, and team engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all facility operations including nursing, dietary, housekeeping, maintenance, and social services

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

  • Maintain survey readiness and implement corrective action plans when necessary

  • Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives

  • Manage facility budget, financial performance, and census growth

  • Develop and mentor department leaders

  • Promote a positive culture focused on resident dignity and staff accountability

  • Oversee emergency preparedness planning and implementation

  • Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and community partners

Qualifications

  • Current Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license (active and in good standing)

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred)

  • Minimum 2–3 years of long-term care leadership experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and state survey process

  • Proven leadership, financial management, and team-building skills

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
